Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy covers the ChatBall live game, this website and the tools ChatBall uses to publish its own videos to its own social media accounts.

Who is responsible

ChatBall is run by Jakub Mizerík, Slovakia. Contact: chatballhelp@gmail.com

What data we use and why

Players in the live chat

When you write in the public live chat of a ChatBall stream (YouTube or Twitch), the game reads your public display name and your message to play the game: your message drops a ball for the country you type. The game keeps a scoreboard with display names, the country played and the number of balls, to show leaderboards, ranks and the match's best player on the stream and in clips of the game. We do not collect e-mail addresses, phone numbers or any private information. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a public chat game (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

ChatBall's own accounts

ChatBall's publishing tools connect only to ChatBall's own accounts (the ChatBall Facebook Page and Instagram account, YouTube channel and TikTok account). They publish ChatBall's own videos and read the numbers and comments of those posts. They do not collect data about other people's accounts. Access keys are stored privately on ChatBall's own computers and never shared or sold.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Like every website, its host (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages.

Services we use

Some of these companies process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards they provide (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

How long we keep data

Leaderboard entries (display name, country, score) older than 12 months are deleted automatically. Statistics of ChatBall's own posts are kept to compare them over time and contain no personal data.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of its use, or object to its use; see Data deletion for the quickest way. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Slovakia this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
